✨ ATTRACTION RATHER THAN PROMOTION ✨

Today I studied Tradition 11:

📖 "Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion."

As I sat and reflected on those words, I couldn't help but think about my own journey.

I do not look the same as the woman who first walked into the rooms. I may have showered and dressed, but my insides were not cute and shiny. Not attractive at all.

When I came in, I was broken from the inside out. 💔 I carried shame. I hated the word alcoholic. I wasn't ready to admit defeat.

I was spiritually sick, emotionally exhausted, physically unhealthy, and completely disconnected from myself.

I was:

• Overweight and inflamed
• Struggling with high blood pressure
• Borderline diabetic
• Constantly fatigued
• Living with a low libido
• Lacking structure, consistency, and discipline

I was NOT happy. I was restless, discontent, irritable and miserable. 😔

Every day felt different. I was up and down emotionally, pulled in every direction, reacting to life instead of living it. I thought that chaos was normal because it was all I had known for so long.

My energy was restless. My mind was noisy. My emotions were all over the place. And I had absolutely no peace. 🕊️

More importantly, I wasn't loving myself. I wasn't taking care of myself. I wasn't living.

I was surviving.

Recently, someone said to me:

💬 "Michelle, I love your passion. I love your energy. That can't be bought. I can feel it."

And it made me stop and think.

Because the truth is, they're right.

That cannot be bought.

You can't purchase peace.

You can't buy purpose.

You can't order self-worth online.

You can't fake spiritual wellness.

You can't manufacture joy.

What people are feeling is not something I created. What they are feeling is the result of doing the work. It is the result of surrender.

It is the result of:

• Meetings
• Sponsorship
• Inventory work
• Prayer 🙏
• Healing
• Practicing these principles in all my affairs

What people see today is not Michelle.

What they see is God working through Michelle. ✨

The energy people feel isn't something I manufactured. The joy isn't fake. The passion isn't forced. The confidence isn't self-created.

It is the fruit of recovery.

It is the fruit of a spiritual awakening.

It is the fruit of a program that continues to save my life one day at a time.

Tradition 11 reminds me that my job is not to convince anyone. My job is not to promote myself. My job is not to SELL recovery.

My job is simply to live it.

To let my life become the message.

To let people see the difference that God and recovery can make in a human being.

I sponsor women for free.

Not because I have to.

Because I get to. ❤️

I share my experience, strength, and hope because someone freely shared theirs with me.

Everything I have today was given to me by God and through the people in these rooms.

If there is anything attractive about me, it is not me at all.

It is:

• The program
• Recovery 
• God's grace 🙏

And that understanding keeps me out of me.

Because I am not carrying a brand.

I am carrying a message. ✨

A message that says:

• No matter how broken you feel today... 💔
• No matter how ashamed you are...
• No matter how hopeless things seem...

Recovery works. I'm proof! ❤️

God heals. 🙏

And a life beyond your wildest dreams is possible. ✨
